I am very happy with this TV mount. I love that I was able to slide the TV and adjust the centering for perfect placement. I will be ordering another one for the bedroom soon.
Very sturdy…. Used it on an OLED tv and holds the appliance very well. Easy to install with the included template.
Installation was easy. (57" TV) The mounting design is the most universal design I have seen. If the studs aren't exactly where you want the TV. Plenty of options for adjustment to center the TV where you want it. The TV is securely mounted to the bracket. No loose movement. Smooth operation while adjusting the angel or tilt of the TV. Well worth the money.
The full motion wall mount is well designed and heavy duty.
The ability to fine tune the position of the TV is well thought out. Adding or deleting component wiring to the TV is easy, you have full access to the back of the TV. Also purchased the sound bar attachment kit. Had a problem with the sound bar connection points. Customer service was top notch in resolving the issue.
I purchased this mount prior to getting my brand new Samsung QLED Q80A (2021) 65" TV. While waiting for my TV to ship, I went ahead and installed this on my wall. The reason I went with this mount is because the studs on my wall would not allow for centering the mount on the wall. My wall is 68" wide, and the studs were off-center.
The great thing that this mount does, once installed off-center like I had to, is that you can then slide the full motion part left-right up to 8". This will allow me now to center my TV exactly in the middle of my wall. Very few, if any other full motion wall mounts do this. So this fit my purpose exactly.
What I didn't expect is how well built this mount is. Seriously, this is a heavy unit made of out steel, while the horizontal bars the TV brackets mount to is aluminum. Exceptionally high-quality. Instructions were very clear and simple to follow, plus the cardboard template made for easy marking of the drill points on the wall.
This also came with a nice level to make sure you mount it level on the wall. If for some reason you messed up and it's a little off, there are adjustment screws that can level it correctly.
The only issue I had when I finally got my TV and was ready to mount the brackets to the back of the TV, was that I didn't have the correct screws. My TV requires M8x1.25 x 26 to 28mm length screws. The M8 screws that came with the wall mount only came in 25mm and 40mm sizes. I didn't want to use the 40mm size ones by using the included spacers. A quick call to MountingDream and they sent me M8 30mm screws, which will work fine despite being 2mm longer than the max size my TV requires. That's because the thickness of the bracket is 2mm, so that'll make the screw go in right to 28mm into the TV.
I am VERY particular with my products and was hesitant to get something other than the SANUS mounts I've always bought before. However, the quality, craftsmanship, details, and exceptional customer service are far above and beyond anything I've experienced.
One final note...to further test my installation, I hung myself (5'7" and 160lbs) from the mount, and no issues at all.
